TL;DR
Clinical Account Associate (Oncology) (precision medicine and genomic testing): Supporting clinical account growth by developing relationships with physicians, pathology departments, and oncology clients while driving adoption of Tempus tests, online ordering, and clinical information tools with an accent on healthcare sales, oncology workflows, and customer engagement. Focus on expanding clinical orders, coordinating specimen sendouts and medical affairs reviews, analyzing account performance, and managing territory plans across Dallas.

Location: Remote - Texas; candidate must reside in the Dallas territory

What you will do

  • Partner with Clinical Account Executives and sales leaders to acquire and retain healthcare clients.
  • Identify upsell and partnering opportunities for algorithmic tests and related products, including HRD, TO, DPYD, UGT1A1, and PURist.
  • Build relationships with physicians, office staff, pathology departments, and oncology clients to drive clinical orders and support specimen sendouts.
  • Drive adoption of Tempus Hub, EMR integrations, and web-based molecular information tools.
  • Analyze account performance and the competitive landscape, provide customer feedback, and monitor progress against sales objectives.
  • Manage a territory business plan covering budgets, travel, account touchpoints, conferences, and goal setting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, life science, business, or marketing.
  • Ability to quickly learn genomic and oncology information.
  • Strong customer service, communication, administrative, prioritization, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, communicate proactively, manage deadlines, and maintain strong market, customer, and product knowledge.
  • Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory as needed.
  • Residence in the Dallas territory is required.

Nice to have

  • Healthcare sales support experience, preferably in oncology or pathology, with a record of meeting or exceeding expectations.
  • General clinical experience.
