What you will do

• Create and review WARs, SITREPs, after-action reports, executive summaries, and briefings.
• Develop accurate content that follows federal and military reporting standards.
• Evaluate sample reports against grading criteria and quality standards.
• Develop reference responses, documentation guidelines, and evaluation rubrics.
• Provide expert feedback on reporting structure, clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
• Collaborate remotely with project teams to improve deliverables.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in federal reporting or staff writing.
• Experience with military or federal reporting formats and documentation standards.
• Experience handling confidential federal or military documentation.
• Strong understanding of federal compliance and reporting practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be US-based.

Nice to have

• Experience within the Department of Defense.
• Background with one or more branches of the US military.
