Technical Content Writer (Cybersecurity & Compliance)

Location: Remote; global hiring where hirify.global can legally engage talent directly or through an EOR partner. Comfortable working in the EST time zone is required.

Salary: $100,000–$140,000 annual base salary for the US national baseline, with geographic pay bands for other markets; equity and benefits are additional.

What you will do

• Write in-depth, opinionated content about cybersecurity, compliance, audits, SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, penetration testing, and related topics.
• Turn founder perspectives, engineering deep-dives, internal knowledge, and customer insights into authoritative published content.
• Research standards, frameworks, and primary sources to verify every material claim.
• Develop and maintain hirify.global’s precise, distinctive editorial voice.
• Optimize content for search engines and AI answer engines without compromising substance or clarity.
• Own the editorial calendar and maintain a consistent publishing cadence.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience writing technical content; B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, compliance, or another accuracy-critical domain is preferred.
• Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly while satisfying expert readers.
• Researcher’s mindset, including the ability to work from standards, frameworks, and primary sources.
• Exceptional attention to accuracy, structure, and editorial quality.
• Self-directed approach to developing content from a topic and point of view.
• Ability to work remotely with EST time-zone alignment.

Nice to have

• Experience writing about SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or other compliance frameworks.
• Background in cybersecurity, DevOps, or software engineering.
• SEO or AEO experience.
• Experience repurposing long-form content with a community or growth-focused teammate.
• Comfort using AI tools while preserving editorial standards and personal voice.
