Psychiatrist

Location: Remote within the United States; an active and unrestricted M.D. or D.O. medical license in the state of residence is required.

Compensation: $206 per visit hour for the United States Independent Contractor position.

What you will do

• Assess patients through video-based encounters and conduct comprehensive virtual mental health evaluations.
• Compile and maintain patient medical data, including health histories, examination results, and mental status findings.
• Manage psychotropic medications by evaluating medical history, response, adherence, and tolerability.
• Develop behavioral health treatment plans, evaluate assessment results, and monitor treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians, psychologists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Conduct monthly chart reviews as part of the peer review quality assurance process.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted M.D. or D.O. medical license in the state of residence.
• Graduation from an ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency program.
• Commitment to continuing medical education.
• Comfort navigating video-conferencing platforms and willingness to learn technologies such as Athena.
• Experience with technology and digital tools and platforms.
