Senior Leave and Accommodation Specialist

What you will do

• Serve as the primary contact for team members navigating leave of absence, disability, and workplace accommodation requests.
• Manage personal leave claims from intake through documentation, approval, tracking, closure, and return-to-work support.
• Initiate and coordinate claims with third-party administrators and external providers.
• Assess and triage claims, identify concerns, and escalate complex cases to the appropriate internal teams.
• Conduct ADA interactive dialogues for disability requests and manage pre-employment accommodation cases.
• Maintain accurate records and protect confidential personally identifiable information while using SNOW, Workday, Kronos, and case management platforms.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience supporting team members with leave of absence and workplace accommodation cases.
• Experience with federal and state leave regulations, including FMLA, ADA, PWFA, and equivalent state laws.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, problem-solving, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust with team members, vendors, and internal partners.
• Flexibility to adjust the schedule as required by business needs.

Nice to have

• Experience with ServiceNow, Workday, Kronos, or similar HR systems.
• Experience working with a third-party leave administrator as a vendor.
