Salesforce Quality Assurance Engineer (Remote)

Location: Remote within the United States; all work must be performed in the U.S. Support for US Eastern time zone working hours is required. Reston, Virginia, United States of America.

Salary: $67,355–$114,503 annually, based on full-time employment.

What you will do

• Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce functionality, workflows, and integrations.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing against stakeholder requirements and federal compliance standards.
• Validate legacy-system data migration for accuracy, integrity, and completeness.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, stakeholders, and federal clients to design test strategies and align testing with Agile sprint goals.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects using Jira; support UAT and validate training materials.
• Maintain QA documentation, quality metrics, test results, and defect reports while contributing to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience developing, documenting, and executing application test plans and scripts for software development projects.
• At least 1 year of experience working on a large Salesforce implementation.
• Public Trust or active Secret clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship, U.S. residence, and authorization to work in the U.S. are required; all work must be performed in the U.S.
• Must have lived in the U.S. for three full years out of the last five years.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, documentation, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Nice to have

• At least 3 years of experience with Agile project management tools, including Jira, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience delivering user training or creating technical documentation.
• Experience testing Salesforce solutions for federal government clients, especially DHS or DoD.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity compliance testing, ATO processes, Section 508 compliance, and automated Salesforce testing tools.
