What you will do
- Design, develop, and implement testing methods and scenarios to ensure products satisfy business requirements.
- Perform manual and automated testing of integrations, interfaces, data transfers, and APIs.
- Develop test plans, scripts, and functional/regression/deployment tests using Jira and X-RAY.
- Conduct database testing using SQL queries and simple scripts.
- Coordinate with development teams to troubleshoot and report defects throughout the STLC.
- Monitor test process improvement through failure, throughput, and yield analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance.
- Experience in Manual, Integration, Functional, and Automated Testing.
- Proficiency with Jira for building test plans, issues, and report outputs.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Must be based in the United States.
Nice to have
- Experience with VA or other Federal Agencies.
- Knowledge of FISMA, NIST-800-53, HIPAA, and HITECH Act.
- Experience with AWS Cloud and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Maven, and GitHub.
- Experience with Oracle scripts and API services in the VA network.
