Test Engineer

TL;DR

Test Engineer (QA Testing): Designing, developing, and implementing testing methods and equipment to ensure product quality with an accent on manual, integration, and functional testing. Salary: $100,000 - $108,000 annually

What you will do

• Design and implement testing methods, test cases, and test plans for software products.
• Perform manual and automated testing including integration, functional, regression, and UAT.
• Use tools like Jira and X-RAY for test management and execution.
• Analyze test results, report defects, and maintain traceability matrices.
• Collaborate with development and requirements teams to coordinate testing activities.
• Support continuous improvement of testing processes and metrics reporting.

Requirements

• Must be located within the Continental United States (CONUS) and able to work remotely.
• Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of relevant experience in manual, integration, and functional testing.
• Experience with Jira for test planning and execution.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Suitability/Public Trust clearance.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Experience with VA or other Federal Agencies.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience working in a remote environment.
