Systems Engineering Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Bremen, Germany; hybrid work and mobile work abroad are available.

What you will do

• Manage systems engineering for a satellite Phase B2/C/D project.
• Lead a team of highly skilled space engineering professionals.
• Coordinate systems engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage technical baselining, interfaces, requirements, product definition, budget, and integration sequencing.
• Coordinate with subsystem engineering, procurement, project management, product assurance, AIT, and customer technical teams.
• Leverage existing technologies, concepts, and processes to shorten turnaround times.

Requirements

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• More than five years of experience leading development teams.
• Experience with the development cycle for space programmes according to ECSS.
• Strong analytical and technical thinking with fact-based decision-making.
• Excellent understanding of complex development processes.
• Fluent German and English, written and spoken.
