What you will do

• Lead and mentor engineering managers and senior individual contributors across three squads.
• Ensure high reliability and performance of low-latency, high-throughput systems powering time predictions.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Analytics to align engineering efforts with business KPIs.
• Define the long-term technical vision and roadmap for the domain.
• Establish a strong delegation framework to empower decision-making at the team level.
• Coordinate seamless integrations across logistics domains and regional brands.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience leading squads through other managers.
• Strong familiarity with Kotlin/JVM, Kubernetes, and Redis.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working closely with Machine Learning models, architectures, and live-serving monitoring.
• Proficiency in both API-based (gRPC) and event-based (Kafka, SNS/SQS) communication.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and cloud environments (AWS).
• Ability to manage dependencies across cross-functional teams including Backend, Mobile, and Data Science.

Nice to have

• Experience in logistics or high-scale e-commerce domains.
• Deep understanding of statistical concepts and experiment design for ML.
