What you will do

• Own the end-to-end industrial execution of the launch vehicle programme, including manufacturing readiness, production planning, vehicle integration, testing, and delivery milestones.
• Develop the industrial strategy and build a scalable aerospace manufacturing organisation from prototype development to serial production.
• Lead production engineering, process engineering, factory automation, industrialisation, tooling, and production planning.
• Direct manufacturing activities across CNC machining, electrical and composite assembly, additive manufacturing, engine assembly, vehicle integration, and final assembly.
• Build resilient supplier partnerships, improve procurement and logistics, manage long-lead materials, and develop dual-source strategies.
• Lead manufacturing quality, product assurance, supplier quality, configuration control, metrology, non-destructive testing, and component, engine, structural, and environmental qualification campaigns.

Requirements

• Extensive executive leadership experience in aerospace, defence, automotive, advanced manufacturing, or another high-technology industry.
• Proven success scaling complex manufacturing operations from development into serial production and leading large multidisciplinary engineering and manufacturing organisations.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, industrialisation, operational excellence, production systems, and digital manufacturing or Industry 4.0.
• Experience delivering complex capital equipment or highly regulated products, including APQP/PPAP or equivalent product introduction methodologies.
• Experience leading supply chain transformation, supplier development, large operational budgets, and capital investment programmes.
• Knowledge of aerospace quality management systems, including AS9100 and related standards, configuration management, production planning and control, test operations, and operational risk management.
