Engineering Manager (AI)

What you will do

• Own engineering strategy and delivery for Acquisition & Registration services including sign-up, checkout, payments, and product plans.
• Lead, coach, and develop a cross-functional team of frontend, backend, and QA engineers fostering a high-performing culture.
• Collaborate with Product Management to deliver the product roadmap balancing business and technical priorities.
• Shape and evolve technical architecture and modernize legacy systems.
• Drive adoption of AI-native engineering practices and tools to improve productivity and software quality.
• Contribute hands-on to coding, architecture, and technical decisions while championing best practices.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work in Hamburg or Berlin, Germany
• 10+ years software engineering experience in cloud-native environments with leadership experience.
• Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, AWS, GitHub Actions, Datadog, Unleash, Jira, and PHP legacy systems.
• Proven experience designing scalable architectures and modernizing legacy applications.
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered engineering tools and agentic development practices.
• Excellent written and spoken English (C1+)
