HSE Leader

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the site HSE framework, including policies, procedures, risk assessments, and audit routines.
• Lead hazard identification, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA closure.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and standards covering workplace safety, ergonomics, and environmental requirements.
• Deliver HSE training, maintain records, and conduct inspections and audits across shopfloor, warehouse, laboratory, and test areas.
• Track HSE KPIs, report trends, and drive closure of audit and inspection findings.
• Review process and equipment changes, including JSA, LOTO, chemical handling, PPE, emergency preparedness, contractor safety, and permit-to-work activities.

Requirements

• 7+ years of HSE experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience and understanding of UAE regulations.
• Practical experience implementing HSE management systems and leading audits and inspections.
• Strong competence in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Ability to work hands-on in dynamic ramp-up environments involving equipment installation, process changes, and contractor activities.
• Recognized HSE qualification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-reliability or high-mix operations.
• Exposure to ISO 45001 and environmental management systems.
