Location: Onsite near Bridgwater, Somerset, United Kingdom. Initial day shifts are required until site familiarity is established; the role then moves to night shifts.

What you will do
- Promote a positive HSE culture across HPC projects, legal entities, and the supply chain.
- Implement and promote HSE management system policies and procedures across project work scopes.
- Conduct weekly site inspections and audits, including reviews of risk assessments and method statements.
- Agree and follow up remedial actions for non-conformances with site management.
- Prepare HSE performance and KPI reports and provide proactive onsite advice and guidance.
- Manage HSE training, incident preparedness, response, investigation, reporting, and emergency preparedness exercises.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as an HSE Advisor or above on large, high-potential-risk engineering and construction projects.
- Expert knowledge of CDM Regulations and experience with EPC project delivery.
- Detailed understanding of UK HSE legislation.
- Experience delivering audits, inspections, and remedial actions for non-conformances.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, behavioural safety, incident management and investigation, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- NEBOSH General Certificate Level 3 or recognised equivalent and mandatory CCNSG certification.
