What you will do

• Lead and promote a positive Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) culture through visible leadership and coaching.
• Manage the SHE team, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and wellbeing.
• Act as the site subject matter expert, utilizing leading indicators and behavioural observations to drive safety.
• Implement and maintain SHE policies and management systems in compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Review and ensure the effectiveness of risk assessments, COSHH management, and safe systems of work.
• Lead audits, inspections, and incident investigations using robust root cause analysis.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a SHE professional within a manufacturing environment.
• NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum qualification.
• Deep knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation and compliance.
• Practical experience applying ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards.
• Proven ability to influence and coach stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Must be able to work on-site in Eastbourne, UK.
