Product Manager, Benefits (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own benefits products and deliver scalable services that support small businesses.
• Shape the strategy, roadmap, and business case for key benefits initiatives.
• Partner with engineering to investigate issues, prioritize bugs, and build technical understanding.
• Guide initiatives through discovery, delivery, and iteration across the product development lifecycle.
• Balance customer-facing product needs with internal platform requirements and business objectives.
• Build cross-functional relationships, remove obstacles, and support team problem-solving and ceremonies.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of product management experience in a modern technology business, or equivalent experience in software engineering, data science, or business analytics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to break down complex problems into executable work.
• Deep user empathy and a high standard for user experience.
• Excellent persuasion, advocacy, storytelling, and first-principles reasoning skills.
• Willingness to learn the business model through research and interviews with coworkers, customers, and prospects.

Nice to have

• Strong technical acumen.
• Experience working in a regulated domain such as fintech or healthcare.
