Senior Product Manager - Processing (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; a reliable internet connection is required. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Target annual compensation: $160,000–$230,000, plus benefits.

What you will do

• Own the roadmap for transforming raw utility bill data into clean, structured, validated payables.
• Map labor-intensive processing workflows and prioritize automation based on cost, error rates, and operational impact.
• Define and drive AI-powered document extraction, processing, and agentic automation in a service-heavy environment.
• Develop tolerancing and exception-handling logic to reduce manual review volumes.
• Build business cases connecting automation investments with unit economics, margins, pricing, and packaging.
• Coordinate payments alignment, retention protection, roadmap execution, and migration away from legacy systems.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product management experience, including products with an embedded service or operations component.
• Experience redesigning labor-intensive workflows into automated or AI-assisted processes with measurable cost-per-unit improvements.
• Hands-on experience shipping AI-powered document processing, extraction, or agentic automation to production.
• Experience modernizing or migrating legacy or acquired systems while maintaining operational continuity.
• Ability to connect automation and unit economics to gross margin and go-to-market pricing decisions.
• Experience with document or data extraction, validation logic, or high-volume back-office and transaction processing.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating service operations after mergers and acquisitions or with outsourced processing vendors.
• Background in utility billing, invoice processing, or other high-volume transaction environments.
