What you will do
- Develop and lead asset care programmes, maintenance strategies, condition-based maintenance, reliability practices, and preventative maintenance optimisation.
- Own the asset register and ensure effective maintenance strategies are established for critical assets.
- Lead RCM and FMECA studies, root cause analysis, failure-finding activities, and technical problem-solving with key stakeholders.
- Ensure mechanical maintenance and inspections meet regulatory requirements, including functional safety and ATEX considerations.
- Analyse leading and lagging asset management KPIs, historical trends, and existing programmes to identify and resolve reliability issues.
- Develop capital investment plans and lead the on-time delivery of reliability improvement projects while reducing maintenance costs.
Requirements
- Time-served Mechanical Engineer.
- Degree-level qualification preferred.
- Chartered Engineer status or progress toward chartership.
- Experience working in hazardous industries.
- NEBOSH certification.
- Previous experience leading a team.
