Sr. Principal Foundry Engineer – Logic/RF Device Expert (FinFET)

What you will do

• Lead advanced-node technology ramp-up, new technology introduction, and process transfer activities for logic/RF technologies.
• Collaborate with external foundries, NXP technology teams, business lines, and joint ventures to qualify and release advanced FinFET processes.
• Provide technical leadership in semiconductor device physics, including FinFET architecture and behavior.
• Drive manufacturability, yield enhancement, and performance improvements through electrical data analysis.
• Lead development and transfer projects, balancing technical, logistical, and strategic factors to meet timelines and business objectives.
• Make key decisions on process integration and engage internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in semiconductor device engineering, focused on advanced logic/RF devices.
• Hands-on production or development experience with HKMG and FinFET technologies.
• Deep knowledge of semiconductor device physics, especially HKMG and FinFET.
• Strong analytical skills in yield enhancement and electrical data analysis, with experience working with foundries and external manufacturing capabilities.
• Fluent spoken Mandarin and working proficiency in English are required for regular communication with Mandarin-speaking suppliers.
