Location: Singapore (Onsite). Must be able to travel overseas to support product verification builds with contract manufacturers.

What you will do

• Create high-fidelity 3D models and 2D technical drawings for complex gaming electronics with a focus on tight tolerances.
• Develop and refine functional prototypes using 3D printing (SLA/FDM), CNC machining, and soft-tooling.
• Design ultra-compact housings for TWS earbuds, charging cases, and headsets to optimize internal space for PCBAs and batteries.
• Develop robust pogo-pin docking solutions, magnetic latching mechanisms, and precise trigger actuators.
• Optimize acoustic apertures and internal signal paths in collaboration with Acoustic Engineers.
• Conduct FEA simulations for stress and drop-tests and evaluate prototypes to resolve cosmetic and functional failures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Product Design Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in the design of consumer electronics or gaming peripherals.
• Proven expertise in audio design, specifically True Wireless Stereo (TWS) systems.
• Expert proficiency in SolidWorks, Creo, or NX, including complex surface modeling and top-down assembly.
• Deep knowledge of injection molding (double-shot, LSR), die-casting, and metal stamping.
• Strong mastery of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) to maximize production yields.
