TL;DR

Lead Product Manager (AI): Building and scaling enterprise AI products from business discovery and hands-on prototyping through governed production delivery, with an accent on product strategy, AI evaluation, and usability. Location: Hybrid schedule with three days per week in the New York City office and remaining days remote; employees must work from the United States.

Salary: $151,600–$208,400 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Define the vision, strategy, roadmap, backlog, and success metrics for a complex AI product area.
• Partner with business units to identify enterprise problems, scope AI use cases, and develop value propositions, business cases, and ROI models.
• Build hands-on prototypes and demos using AI coding tools before committing full delivery teams.
• Translate validated use cases into requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, edge cases, and usable end-to-end experiences.
• Lead delivery from prototype through production, including architecture discussions, prompt engineering, skill creation, and trade-off decisions.
• Establish AI quality and evaluation practices, guide governance reviews, communicate results to executives, and mentor product managers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product or related experience, including 4+ years in product management.
• Experience shipping AI/ML or GenAI products to production and hands-on use of AI tools for prototyping.
• Experience building golden sets, ground truth, offline and live evaluations, and using precision- and recall-based metrics.
• Working knowledge of LLMs, agents, RAG, prompt engineering, and AI evaluation methodology.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work three days per week from the New York City office and protect PHI/HIPAA information from a dedicated workspace.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, insurance, or another regulated industry.
• Experience with agent frameworks, GraphRAG, knowledge graphs, reusable skills, or plugins.
• Strong perspective on agentic AI, evaluation, and AI-native product development.
• Comfort working with ambiguity, quickly changing technology, and first-principles problem solving.
