Filling & Packaging Expansion Transition Operator – B Shift

What you will do

• Set up, start up, and perform changeovers on designated legacy filling and packaging lines.
• Complete batch documentation accurately and support daily production targets.
• Monitor equipment, identify abnormalities, and escalate issues to minimise downtime and protect OEE.
• Maintain 5S and GEMBA housekeeping standards and participate in continuous-improvement activities.
• Communicate across shift handovers and cross-functional teams to maintain uninterrupted legacy-line operation.
• Operate in compliance with GMP, approved specifications, SOPs, quality requirements, and HS&E standards.

Requirements

• Minimum GCSEs in Mathematics and English at grade C/4 or above, or equivalent.
• Previous production-environment or regulated-industry experience with demonstrable knowledge of GMP principles.
• Machinery certification gained through OEM in-house training.
• Good practical aptitude, attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to calibrate associated equipment according to written procedures and record results.
• Scope is limited to designated legacy lines; the role does not include training, qualification, deployment, or rostering on expansion lines L24, L25, L26, or related assets.

Nice to have

• Five GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including Mathematics and English.
• Recognised packaging qualification such as an NVQ.
• Pharmaceutical experience and experience operating modern, complex, high-speed packaging machinery.
