Production Technician - Enhanced Compounding

Location: Thetford, Norfolk, United Kingdom. Mon–Fri rotating shifts from 06:00–14:00 and 13:00–21:00; flexibility for standard day shifts is required during initial training.

Starting salary: £27,000 per year, plus a shift allowance of £45.35 per week.

What you will do

• Prepare, compound, and inspect pharmaceutical products according to SOPs.
• Label and dispense products to exact specifications.
• Operate in cleanrooms, maintain isolator inventory, and validate aseptic techniques.
• Clean and sanitise equipment and components to regulatory standards.
• Complete routine equipment sampling, testing, and facility cleaning.
• Work on your feet while wearing specialised cleanroom PPE and gowns.

Requirements

• GCSE or equivalent qualifications in English and Mathematics.
• High attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Compassion and understanding that products are supplied directly to vulnerable patients.
• Ability to work collaboratively with quality and training departments.
• Comfort working in a regulated, high-standard manufacturing environment and following rotating shifts.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice or equivalent hygiene and safety standards from another industry.
• Previous experience in a regulated, high-standard environment.
