Production Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom. The role follows a 10pm–6am night shift from Sunday night through Friday morning; the first 12 weeks require day-shift training.

Salary: £27,000 base salary plus a weekly night-shift allowance of £94.44.

What you will do

• Prepare, manufacture, label, and inspect compounded medicines across cleanroom production operations.
• Perform aseptic compounding, equipment checks, sampling, testing, and routine maintenance.
• Select, prepare, and sanitize raw materials, equipment, components, and production areas according to SOPs.
• Control isolator inventory, maintain productivity, and meet product turnaround times.
• Monitor facility conditions, report sanitization deviations, and support non-conformance resolution.
• Maintain clean and compliant production areas in line with the Manufacturing Licence and Quality System requirements.

Requirements

• GCSE or equivalent in English and Mathematics.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment such as manufacturing, retail, or hospitality.
• Computer literacy and the ability to use production-related systems.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Willingness to work the stated night-shift pattern and complete the initial day-shift training period.
