General Manager - ATM (Air Traffic Control)

What you will do

• Lead hirify.global ATM’s Australian operations as the senior local representative and align them with global strategy.
• Oversee ATM project and program delivery with Program and Project Managers, including resource planning, budgeting, forecasting, quality, and operational standards.
• Build relationships with customers, partners, government stakeholders, and industry representatives.
• Establish and oversee the Melbourne office, including governance, compliance, risk management, and local operating processes.
• Drive business development, strategic initiatives, and growth opportunities in Australia and the APAC region.
• Lead, coach, recruit, and develop the Australian Project Execution team.

Requirements

• Business Management, MBA, technical project/program management, engineering qualifications, or equivalent industry experience.
• Extensive experience in software development and complex program or project delivery in the Air Traffic Control domain.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to set direction and engage technical teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience across people management, finance, commercial business development, and project management.
• Australian citizenship is required; applicants must hold or be able to obtain Australian Defence Security Clearance, preferably NV1.

Nice to have

• Australian Defence Security Clearance at NV1 level.
• Experience working across global time zones and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
