Location: Onsite in Merrimack, New Hampshire, United States; 0 days working from home. The position works second shift from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.; training takes place on first shift from 6:20 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for the first couple of weeks.
Salary: $30–$40 per hour plus a $2.50 per-hour shift differential.

What you will do
- Perform daily preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of mechanical and manufacturing equipment.
- Sustain and improve preventive maintenance programs for processing equipment.
- Determine repair requirements, recommend equipment modifications, and evaluate equipment performance.
- Develop maintenance techniques that meet quality, functional, and cost standards.
- Provide technical direction to less senior technicians during equipment repair, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Collect equipment performance data using predictive maintenance technologies, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; a technical or vocational certificate is desired.
- At least five years of general equipment maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment and electronic controls, including the use of electrical testing equipment, power tools, and hand tools.
- Experience with CMMS scheduling systems, preventive maintenance tasks, technical manuals, and vendor resources.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work extended hours during peak production periods when required.
