Operations Specialist, Support Vehicle Fleet (Robotics)

What you will do

• Perform planned maintenance and unplanned repairs on box trucks, cargo vans, pickup trucks, and sedans.
• Diagnose and complete minor repairs, including jump-starts, tire repairs, bulb replacement, fluid refills, and basic hardware fixes.
• Retrofit vehicles with specialized equipment supporting robot operations.
• Transport vehicles or coordinate towing to external maintenance shops for advanced repairs.
• Document vehicle issues, troubleshooting, repairs, and resolutions accurately.
• Collaborate with robot operations and issue-triage teams while improving maintenance workflows.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in vehicle maintenance, fleet driving, or final-mile delivery operations.
• Understanding of basic vehicle components, systems, safe operation, and malfunction warning signs.
• Ability to independently diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair basic vehicle failures.
• Valid driver’s license with a demonstrably clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly and perform repetitive tasks.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree or technical certification.
• Direct mechanic or vehicle maintenance experience.
