Occupational Therapist, Part Time (PACE)

Location: 1005 E Rosecrans Ave., Compton, California, United States; travel between work sites, community locations, and participants' homes may be required.

Salary: $55.00–$62.00 per hour

What you will do

• Provide occupational therapy evaluations and treatment across acute, restorative, and maintenance levels of care.
• Assess participants, develop individualized treatment plans, and coordinate implementation with participants and caregivers.
• Participate in the Interdisciplinary Team by contributing clinical assessments, care plan recommendations, and care coordination.
• Conduct home visits as needed and educate participants, families, and staff on ADLs, exercise programs, safety, and DME use.
• Document therapy services, maintain participant records, and contribute to data collection and reporting.
• Support DME ordering and inventory, quality assurance, safety, environmental, and infection control programs.

Requirements

• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy, or equivalent, from an accredited program meeting AOTA and ACOTE standards.
• National certification by the American Occupational Therapy Association or eligibility for its National Registration Examination.
• At least one year of experience working with frail or elderly populations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment, adapt to ambiguity, seek feedback, and support continuous improvement.
• Ability to communicate with participants, caregivers, and staff and perform duties involving movement, lifting, and participant assistance.
• Must provide authorization to work in the United States; hirify.global participates in E-Verify.

Nice to have

• Two or more years of practicing occupational therapy experience.
• Bilingual Spanish and English; additional languages are a plus.
• PACE or ADCH/CBAS experience.
• State-issued driver's license, personal transportation, and auto insurance as required by law.
