FP&A Manager (R&D)

Salary: $121,692–$194,708 USD base salary per year, plus variable incentive pay, benefits, and perks.

What you will do

• Maintain corporate financial model inputs and support monthly financial close processes.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, reports, dashboards, and business analyses for Product and R&D organizations.
• Partner with Product and R&D leaders to improve financial visibility, accuracy, and decision-making.
• Support pricing analysis and product roadmap prioritization.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to operational management, executive leadership, and the board.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate strategy, or a related field.
• Experience supporting executive leadership and R&D organizations in a software or SaaS company.
• Strong experience creating financial analyses, models, reports, and dashboards, especially in Excel.
• Broad understanding of accounting, finance, and operations principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration is highly preferred.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role based in Boston, MA, or Houston, TX.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with FP&A relational databases, BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and Salesforce reporting.
• Experience with Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, or similar FP&A platforms.
• Experience supporting due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, or other corporate development processes.
