FP&A Analyst

TL;DR

FP&A Analyst (Financial Planning & Analysis): Maintaining and improving budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis processes for a consumer health and fitness application with an accent on financial modeling, performance management, and decision support. Focus on analyzing business performance, building complex financial models, and presenting insights to executives and department leaders.

What you will do

• Manage and continuously improve quarterly forecasting and annual operating plan processes across revenue, COGS, SG&A, and CapEx.
• Partner with budget owners to maintain bottoms-up financial plans, supporting details, and assumptions.
• Build and enhance reporting dashboards in Workday Adaptive.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including GAAP compliance, variance analysis, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare performance reporting and summary packages for department heads and support monthly financial review meetings.
• Develop financial models and provide analytical support for strategic initiatives and management decisions.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States for this remote role.
• BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of progressive experience in FP&A, business analysis, or corporate accounting.
• Expertise in financial modeling, financial statement analysis, and corporate finance concepts.
• Strong experience with Excel and PowerPoint or equivalent Google Suite tools, plus ERP and financial planning systems such as Workday Adaptive.
• Strong analytical, communication, project management, collaboration, judgment, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in consumer applications, SaaS, or subscription businesses.
• Master’s degree, MBA, or CPA certification.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with detail-oriented execution.
