General Manager (International Moving & Freight Forwarding)

Location: Remote in Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, or Panama

hirify.global is hiring for a client operating an international moving and freight forwarding division focused on household goods relocations.

What you will do

• Lead the day-to-day performance and scaling of the international moving division.
• Oversee household goods relocations across ocean freight, air freight, customs, documentation, destination services, pricing, and quoting.
• Manage sales, operations, pricing, sales support, and customer service teams.
• Establish KPIs, improve SOPs and workflows, and use performance data to increase efficiency and accountability.
• Handle complex customer escalations and improve communication throughout the relocation lifecycle.
• Partner with ownership on strategy, expansion, technology implementation, and operational growth.

Requirements

• 10+ years of international household goods moving experience is required.
• Experience managing an international moving company, business unit, or major division.
• Hands-on knowledge of international shipping, ocean and air freight, customs, documentation, destination services, pricing, and quoting.
• Experience leading and developing remote teams across multiple departments.
• Experience establishing KPIs, SOPs, accountability systems, and operational improvements.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in the U.S. international moving market or freight forwarding.
• Transportation Management System, CRM, or workflow management software experience.
• Experience scaling operations, implementing technology, or automating processes.
