Warehouse Optimization Engineer (F/H/X) (Logistics)

Location: Puurs-Sint-Amands, Belgium; remote work is available.

What you will do

• Lead logistics, import, export, warehouse improvement, and automation projects.
• Analyze internal material flows and identify opportunities to reduce handling time, manual work, and process complexity.
• Define project priorities, objectives, deliverables, success criteria, and business requirements with stakeholders and warehouse operators.
• Monitor warehouse performance through KPIs, dashboards, reporting tools, and regular operational reviews.
• Coordinate requirements and solution handover with engineering and technical teams.
• Contribute to data lake solutions, digital agents, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement of implemented solutions.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of professional experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse operations, process improvement, or project management; candidates with at least 5 years may also be considered.
• Experience with warehouse processes, internal material flows, import, export, logistics planning, and improvement projects.
• Experience translating operational needs into business requirements and coordinating business, technical, engineering, and warehouse stakeholders.
• Experience with KPI definition, performance monitoring, dashboards, reporting, and process automation.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification and a good understanding of project management methods.
• Fluent English and Dutch.

Nice to have

• Experience in the automotive industry, manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics.
• Knowledge of GMP; pharmaceutical experience is not required.
