Associate Engineer (HVAC)

Location: Clarksville, Tennessee, United States. Hybrid schedule: onsite Monday through Thursday with colleagues; Fridays allow flexibility in work location. Domestic and international travel may be required, estimated at 10%.

Annual base salary: $52,300–$93,485.

What you will do

• Support product development projects for commercial HVAC equipment.
• Document, understand, and prioritize internal and external customer requirements.
• Apply engineering expertise to solve design problems and assess product suitability for different applications.
• Participate in cross-functional projects addressing performance, reliability, cost, and schedule objectives.
• Create and maintain technical reports, laboratory test results, drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct design FMEAs, develop risk mitigation plans, and provide technical support to laboratory, manufacturing, supplier, service, and operations teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• 0–2 years of engineering or product design experience.
• Knowledge of heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration fundamentals.
• Ability to contribute to cross-functional product engineering teams and deliver assigned design elements.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, mathematical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to organize technical information efficiently and use it to make engineering decisions.
