TL;DR
Senior Accountant, Core Revenue (Health Tech) (DTC memberships, imaging and scan services): Managing revenue accounting, month-end and quarter-end close, reconciliations, and reporting for subscription and service-based healthcare revenue with an accent on data quality, ASC 606, and scalable accounting systems. Focus on tracing discrepancies across payment processors, subledgers, and the general ledger, supporting the Rillet integration, and building reliable controls and processes.

What you will do
- Own monthly and quarterly revenue close activities for DTC memberships and imaging and scan services.
- Prepare revenue journal entries, deferred revenue schedules, account reconciliations, and audit support.
- Analyze financial results, investigate fluctuations, and explain balance sheet and income statement variances.
- Trace revenue data quality issues to their root causes and partner with data engineering and product teams on resolution.
- Support the Rillet integration by mapping data flows, testing configurations, and defining requirements for an auditable close.
- Reconcile Stripe, payment processor, subledger, and general ledger data while improving processes and controls.
Requirements
- 5+ years of accounting experience with exposure to revenue accounting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Independent experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and flux or variance analysis.
- Strong data skills and experience working with large, imperfect datasets in Excel or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of ASC 606 applied to service-based and subscription revenue models.
- Ability to work through ambiguous, undocumented data and systems while identifying and resolving root-cause issues.
Nice to have
- Big Four public accounting experience.
- CPA designation or active progress toward certification.
- Experience in subscription-based or health-tech businesses.
- Familiarity with Stripe, Rillet, NetSuite, or other payment and revenue-recognition system integrations.
- Hands-on use of AI or automation tools in accounting workflows.
