TL;DR
Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A): Supporting annual budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and executive reporting for a value-based healthcare organization with an accent on financial modeling, data synthesis, and cross-functional planning. Focus on building actionable variance explanations, improving planning-tool utilization with AI, and preparing executive and board-level presentations.
Location: Remote within the United States, with listed locations in Arlington, VA; Durham, NC; Novi, MI; Austin, TX; or the Bethesda, MD office.

What you will do
- Support the annual budget process and monthly forecasting and variance analysis.
- Partner with budget owners, Finance Business Partners, accounting, and business leads to explain differences from plan and prior forecasts.
- Prepare executive-level charts, monthly Executive Committee materials, and quarterly Board presentations.
- Identify and implement improvements to NSPB and other financial planning tools, including AI-enabled efficiency improvements.
- Deliver ad hoc reporting and analysis for financial and business priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of finance experience.
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, complex spreadsheets, PivotTables, and lookup functions.
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize large datasets into actionable insights.
- Resourceful, adaptable, organized, and comfortable managing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work remotely from within the United States or from the Bethesda, MD office.
Nice to have
- Experience with NetSuite Budget and Planning or similar FP&A software.
- CPA license.
- Exceptional time-management and organizational skills.
