What you will do

• Own daily banking, cash management, and transaction coding to ensure real-time visibility into cash position.
• Manage accounts receivable, including enterprise invoicing, subscription billing, and payment tracking.
• Run accounts payable, including vendor onboarding, invoice processing, and payment scheduling.
• Support month-end close by performing reconciliations and preparing financial workpapers.
• Lead the transition of accounting activities from external accountants to an internal function.
• Document processes and establish scalable financial workflows.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US
• 5+ years of accounting experience with ownership of month-end close.
• Strong grasp of A/R, A/P, and bank reconciliations.
• Experience with Stripe or similar subscription billing platforms.
• Proficiency in working with ERP or accounting systems.
• Track record of operating independently in a high-ownership environment.
