Staff Accountant

Location: US Remote

Salary: $69,200–$86,450 USD annually

What you will do

• Support the Assistant Controller by validating the integrity of journal entries, invoices, payments, and other financial data.
• Perform monthly and quarterly financial statement close activities, including account reconciliations, analysis, and month-end journal entries.
• Participate in quarterly review procedures and annual audits by responding to auditor requests and inquiries.
• Monitor compliance with GAAP and company procedures, escalating accounting, financial, and control issues to management.
• Review and approve refund requests through Jira and weekly pricing in Oracle.
• Reconcile Oracle data with Power BI and provide financial support for users and other projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 3–5 years of general ledger accounting experience.
• Experience with general ledger accounting and month-end close processes.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Thoroughness, attention to detail, analytical skills, and strong interpersonal abilities.

• Experience with Oracle.
