Sr. Business Process Analyst I

What you will do

• Perform B2B credit risk assessments for new and existing customers using financial statements, credit bureau reports, trade references, and public financial information.
• Recommend credit limits, payment terms, onboarding controls, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Monitor credit exposure, utilization, aging, payment performance, alerts, high-risk accounts, bankruptcies, disputes, and distressed customers across Mexico, Canada, International, and Celtic portfolios.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, Finance, Claims, Legal, Commercial, and Collections on credit decisions, claims exposure, escalations, and recovery efforts.
• Track and reconcile bad debt recovery activity and support collection agency partnerships, OCA workflows, and settlement decisions.
• Build and maintain credit risk dashboards, automate early-warning alerts, analyze delinquency and bad debt data, and identify process and risk-reduction opportunities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in credit, risk, financial analysis, accounts receivable, or Order to Cash.
• Strong financial statement and credit analysis skills, with the ability to make risk-based decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Power BI or Tableau, including building, modeling, and maintaining interactive dashboards.
• Advanced Excel skills, including XLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, SQL, and data analysis.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, attention to detail, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Monterrey, Mexico.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or freight brokerage.
• Experience with D&B, Moody’s, BillTrust, Salesforce, or Oracle Fusion.
• Knowledge of credit policy, portfolio monitoring, accounts receivable, and bad debt recovery.
• Experience writing basic SQL queries and using Power BI or Tableau to visualize credit risk metrics.
