Product Manager (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco or New York, United States

Salary: $165,000–$330,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Own the developer experience for deploying and iterating on machine-learning models, from initial sign-up to maintained production deployments.
• Make the CLI and SDKs the primary development surfaces and unify the CLI, console, Truss, configuration files, and model code into a coherent workflow.
• Improve onboarding, model discovery, deployment progress visibility, and error handling through the Model Library and first-deploy experience.
• Own deployment lifecycle capabilities including environment promotion, version history, artifact and model registries, reproducible deployments, canary releases, shadow deployments, A/B testing, scheduled promotion, and rollback.
• Define developer experience for multi-model applications, multimodal agents, and applications built with Chains.
• Use customer conversations to turn deployment and operations friction into a self-serve product roadmap.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building developer-facing or technical products as a product manager or product-minded engineer.
• Previous hands-on engineering experience building developer tools such as SDKs, CLIs, APIs, or platform surfaces.
• Demonstrated experience shipping and owning developer tools or developer products.
• Strong understanding of developer experience across CLI and user interfaces, with experience simplifying complex workflows.
• Strong opinions on CLI, API-first, and agent-first design, treating coding agents as first-class users.
• Technical depth to build trust with engineers, conduct rigorous customer research, and ship products quickly.

Nice to have

• Experience with machine-learning infrastructure, developer tools, or API products.
• Hands-on experience deploying and serving machine-learning models.
