Associate Director, Market and Patient Access Training

Location: Hybrid in the New York City office or remote on the East Coast of the United States

Salary: $185,000–$210,000 USD per year, plus discretionary bonus and equity

What you will do

• Develop and execute Market Access and Patient Access Liaison training strategies for pre-launch, launch, and post-launch phases.
• Design onboarding curricula, national and regional meeting training, reinforcement plans, and role-specific capability programs.
• Translate complex scientific, clinical, and operational concepts into clear training materials for field-facing roles.
• Partner with Market Access, Patient Engagement, Commercial Operations, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales Leadership, and other stakeholders.
• Build scalable learning pathways, certification programs, onboarding frameworks, and training effectiveness metrics.
• Manage external vendors, learning platforms, budgets, and training events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Education, or a related field.
• 3–4+ years of Market Access and/or Patient Liaison Training experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Experience contributing to or leading launch training for specialty or complex therapies.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical commercial models spanning sales, medical, market access, and patient support.
• Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, stakeholder management, and instructional design skills.
• Experience managing vendors and learning platforms such as an LMS.

Nice to have

• Experience with interventional or specialty psychiatry products.
• Familiarity with treatment-resistant depression, referral-based care models, and site-of-care dynamics.
