Director of Cx Capability

Location: Remote within the United States; travel up to 25%.

Salary: $150,000–$190,000 USD per year, plus performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive U.S.-based benefits package.

What you will do

• Design and improve scalable capability-development systems, career pathways, competency frameworks, and technical-readiness programs for Cx professionals.
• Coordinate learning priorities, training plans, instructors, subject-matter experts, vendors, and educational resources.
• Build field-development, mentoring, coaching, and competency-assessment programs that validate readiness and support progressive responsibility.
• Develop leadership workshops and management-development resources focused on project execution, technical leadership, operational excellence, and client delivery.
• Capture technical knowledge, lessons learned, standard work, and project case studies in reusable playbooks and searchable resources.
• Advise executive, operations, and department leaders on capability gaps affecting growth, quality, safety, project delivery, and client service.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of experience in technical development, workforce capability development, learning architecture, field training, operational leadership development, or a related function.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise learning, technical-readiness, or workforce-capability programs.
• Experience developing competency models, role expectations, career pathways, readiness milestones, or structured field-development programs.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, program-design, and technical-coaching skills.
• Ability to collaborate across technical, operational, executive, and support functions and translate complex requirements into scalable development systems.

Nice to have

• Experience in engineering, construction, commissioning, consulting, or professional services.
• Experience with learning-management-system content coordination, instructional design, or learning-pathway development.
• Experience building capability-development or technical-readiness programs from the ground up.
• Experience with field-based learning, technical qualification, mentoring, competency assessment, or project-readiness programs.
