Operational Excellence Specialist (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Write, revise, and audit equipment operations SOPs, work instructions, and technical materials.
• Partner with trainers and engineers to build and scale technical qualification and cross-training programs.
• Lead Lean, Kaizen, 5S, and process-mapping initiatives on the production floor.
• Create standardized knowledge-management systems to capture and transfer lessons learned.
• Drive ad hoc projects and system rollouts as engineering and production priorities change.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Technical Writing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, continuous improvement, technical training, or quality assurance.
• Ability to simplify complex engineering processes into concise, usable, and compliant document-control frameworks.
• Practical knowledge of Lean manufacturing, structured problem-solving, and data-driven process optimization.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills, independence in ambiguous situations, and an ownership-driven mindset.
