Quality Supervisor (Automotive Manufacturing)

TL;DR

Location: Onsite in Dry Ridge, Kentucky, United States, working the 3rd shift.

What you will do

• Supervise team leaders and quality technicians, including performance reviews, employee records, assignments, attendance, and overtime.
• Ensure product quality and conformance with approved work instructions, quality systems, and production processes.
• Drive plant-wide objectives covering efficiency, utilization, scrap reduction, safety, on-time delivery, and Lean initiatives.
• Lead problem solving, accountability measures, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain and improve process documentation, including process flow diagrams, control plans, FMEAs, work instructions, layouts, and action plans.
• Administer CQI 15 special weld processes and participate in safety and ergonomic initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree is preferred.
• Strong organization, communication, interpersonal, motivational, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of products, production processes, Lean principles, employee relations, and internal and external quality systems.
• Ability to uphold ethical business practices, employee standards, work instructions, and process requirements.
• Ability to resolve quality and production issues in a timely manner.

Nice to have

• NDT certification.
• Familiarity with dimensional metrology.
• CQI 15 special weld processes certification or experience.
