What you will do

• Perform dimensional inspections using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and profilometers to ensure compliance with tolerances.
• Conduct visual and Dye Penetrant Testing (PT) for welds and inspect surface preparation and painting quality.
• Manage Non-conformance Reports (NCRs) from documentation to closure, utilizing root cause analysis tools like 5 Whys and Fishbone.
• Oversee calibration of measurement tools, including managing certificates and coordinating with external calibration companies.
• Ensure adherence to the Quality Management System, ISO standards, and support 5S initiatives in the inspection area.
• Perform external inspections for dropships and develop specific dimensional inspection templates.

Requirements

• Technical education in Quality, Mechanical, or Manufacturing, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality inspection within machining, fabrication, or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings in both inch and metric systems.
• Strong knowledge of precision measuring instruments and welding inspection practices.
• Understanding of calibration systems, traceability, and 5S methodology.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
