Business Operations - Implementation Team Lead

Location: Remote within the United States, limited to AL, AZ, CO, FL, GA, IL, LA, MA, MI, MN, MO, MT, NC, NJ, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, and WI

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end implementation portfolio for new college and university partners, including reporting, meetings, partner coordination, milestones, and deliverables.
• Manage up to 10 concurrent implementations during peak periods, each following a five-week onboarding timeframe.
• Supervise two partner operations managers and support best practices for timely partner onboarding.
• Develop repeatable project plans covering dependencies, timelines, stakeholders, deliverables, and project-specific requirements.
• Own the implementation risk management framework, including mitigation plans for at-risk or delayed projects.
• Coordinate data engagements, documentation, process improvements, and transitions to partner success, data, operations, marketing, and product teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 2 years of successful client-facing or account support experience, including leading projects from start to finish.
• Experience leading project managers, implementation teams, or similar functions.
• Experience with project management or coordination and gathering requirements from multiple business units.
• Experience with student and higher education data, Salesforce or another CRM, Google Workspace, and Excel.
• Strong customer focus and interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with stakeholders at all management levels.

Nice to have

• Certified Associate Project Manager certification or similar.
