Team Leader Maintenance (Manufacturing)

Salary: $78,520–$117,790 annually

What you will do

• Oversee the Boiler and Refrigeration Department and affiliated equipment.
• Plan and schedule maintenance work and workforce utilization to meet production demands.
• Monitor downtime, production-line efficiency, equipment performance, and maintenance trends.
• Own preventive and predictive maintenance activities, including oil, vibration, engine-compressor, and infrared thermography analysis.
• Lead equipment reliability, mechanical integrity, repair prioritization, and continuous improvement programs.
• Train and direct employees, enforce safety standards, control labor and parts costs, and support maintenance and capital projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or another technical discipline is preferred.
• 3–5 years of previous maintenance experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Knowledge and experience with preventive maintenance programs, electrical and electronic principles, technical documentation, blueprints, and schematics.
• Ability to prepare employee evaluations, maintenance procedures, and job descriptions; computer literacy required.
• Ability to work at the Park Rapids, Minnesota plant and comply with OSHA, USDA, safety, food safety, and applicable union-contract requirements.

Nice to have

• CAD or drafting experience.
• MN 1-B Boiler license or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or another technical discipline.
