What you will do

• Lead structural design for small and large projects, managing engineering and design staff for quality, budget, and schedule.
• Develop structural design concepts, establish project scope, and define structural budgets.
• Design and review structural systems and components for industrial facilities using applicable codes.
• Oversee construction drawings, specifications, technical reports, and calculations.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal multi-discipline teams to support project delivery.
• Mentor junior staff and perform site visits to gather design data and observe construction progress.

Requirements

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• Proven experience in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Experience serving as a Discipline Lead on complex industrial facility projects.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Birmingham, AL.
