Senior Structural Design Engineer (PE/SE)

Location: Hillsboro, Oregon 97124, United States; the role includes site visits and construction-phase oversight.

What you will do

• Develop structural concepts and analyses for complex industrial and infrastructure facilities.
• Oversee steel and concrete construction drawing packages.
• Lead structural delivery from feasibility studies and site analysis through construction administration and post-construction engagement.
• Use structural analysis software such as Staad; review submittals, respond to RFIs, and perform site visits.
• Coordinate structural, architectural, and MEP teams and manage consultant relationships.
• Lead client presentations and resolve complex structural design challenges.

Requirements

• PE and/or SE license required.
• At least two years of professional structural design experience.
• Hands-on experience with structural analysis software such as Staad.
• Professional proficiency in steel and concrete design.
• Experience preparing construction documents and coordinating deliverables across project phases.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including client presentations and large-team coordination.

Nice to have

• Experience with BIM, Revit, and Navisworks.
• Portfolio of innovative or high-complexity structural projects.
• Forward-thinking approach to structural engineering standards and best practices.
