IT Manager, System Operations (SaaS)

What you will do

• Mentor, hire, and supervise systems administrators and engineers.
• Collaborate with internal business partners and stakeholders.
• Review operational policies, procedures, and infrastructure, and develop improvement strategies.
• Lead operational scheduling, planning, and projects.
• Drive automation and simplicity to improve infrastructure performance, efficiency, and availability.
• Coordinate production issues outside regular working hours when necessary and manage the operational budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of leadership and project management experience supporting critical production infrastructure.
• Basic understanding of SaaS infrastructure networking, including L2-L3, TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.
• Basic understanding of security concepts and auditing requirements.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows in a production environment.
• Ability to follow information security protocols when handling confidential and protected health information.

Nice to have

• Experience in a service provider or software development organization.
• Experience with on-premise data centers and application delivery operations.
• Experience writing policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating system commands and utilities.
