What you will do
- Deploy and configure network solutions including switches, wireless access points, routers, and firewalls.
- Manage routing, VLAN, and firewall configurations following team standards and change-management processes.
- Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi issues using packet captures, logs, and performance data.
- Monitor network health via Datadog dashboards and participate in incident response and post-incident reviews.
- Maintain clear documentation for designs, runbooks, deployment procedures, and operational workflows.
- Apply AI-assisted tools to reduce operational toil and improve runbooks and investigations.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DHCP/DNS, and wireless concepts.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise network equipment (switches, access points, routers, firewalls).
- Ability to execute production changes and validate outcomes independently.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting connectivity and performance issues using logs and packet captures.
- Must be based in Paris, France for a hybrid work arrangement.
- AI-fluency for troubleshooting, documenting, and automating daily tasks.
Nice to have
- Experience with Meraki, Aruba, Cisco, Palo Alto, or Fortinet platforms.
- Familiarity with Datadog or other monitoring and observability tools.
- Scripting or automation experience with Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Experience with secure network practices such as segmentation, VPNs, NAC, or zero trust networking.
